CNC Milling Machine
Function: Rough milling and finish milling multiple vertical key bosses in wheel inside diameter.

Features:

  • Vertical column automatically tilts from angled vertical roughing cut to straight vertical finish cut during a single machine cycle

  • Dual milling heads with long reach into the wheel inside diameter. One roughing head and one finish head

  • Dual milling heads are mounted on a 180° degree. two station indexer with hydraulic rotation, shot pins (2) and position clamping

  • Each milling head has two cutters. Each cutter does O.D. milling and face milling

  • Cutters are driven by precision silent chain for zero back lash

  • Fixture is mounted on a 360° indexer, with 1000 divisions per degree, to automatically reposition the wheel radically, during the machine cycle, for each key boss location

  • CNC 5 axis controls

  • Automatic lubrication

  • Chip separator and coolant system
